Career Description
The Behavioral Health Division is seeking a Revenue Cycle Informatics Analyst team member to help us transform the way care is delivered to our patients through strategic design of the electronic health record. This position will play an integral role in the continuous improvement processes, which may include the analysis of data, business process, root cause, and performance gaps. As part of a cross-functional team, this position will be responsible for maintaining strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.As the Revenue Cycle Informatics Analyst, you will:Identify issues and concerns within clinical practice workflow and processes and provided leadership and guidance to define system and process requirements that will optimize system performance and technology utilization by revenue cycle staff.Collaborate with revenue cycle staff to elicit, identify, define, prioritize and document business requirements and opportunities for new technical and non-technical projects.Engage with BHD Leadership and other EHR Business Support Team members to drive meaningful system changes to positively influence service delivery to our clients.To be successful in this position, you are:An effective communicatorA critical thinker who is able to work both independently and collaboratively.Able to manage multiple competing deadlines.Skilled in using data to inform decision making.Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.To be considered for this position, you are required to have:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study and 3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations OR Associate's degree in a relevant field of study and 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operationsPreferences include: Training in Lean Six Sigma, Theory of Constraint, Prosci Change Management and/or related curriculum(s).
