Long Term Care Unit - Remote in North Dakota - Eligibility Worker Application Processer As an Application Processor in the Long-Term Care Unit, you will evaluate and determine applicant eligibility for Long-Term Care Medicaid programs based on Federal and State regulations. You will complete asset assessments and eligibility reviews with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws. You will communicate eligibility requirements and application follow-up actions to applicants and other entities through various channels, providing clear and effective guidance. Additionally, you will enter, update, and maintain accurate case data in the appropriate systems, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. When needed, you will provide support for the Long-Term Care Unit Call Center, ensuring a seamless experience for callers.To succeed in this role, you will need a solid understanding of Aged, Blind, and Disabled (ABD) Medicaid, with familiarity in Long-Term Care Medicaid being a plus. You must have strong organizational skills and can manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities with ease. You are proactive and embrace and leverage technology to improve processes. You approach challenges with resourceful problem-solving skills and adaptability, enabling you to navigate situations with confidence. You are dedicated to providing accurate and efficient services and have the ability to tailor communication to suit your audience.To be considered for this position, you must have a high school diploma or GED And One (1) year of work experience determining eligibility in a social service office in one of the following Economic Assistance programs: Temporary Assistance Needy Families (TANF)Supplemental Nutrition Program (SNAP) Foster Care MedicaidLow-income Energy Assistance program (LIHEAP). This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation. Our focus is providing rehabilitative care in an integrated manner in the person's home and community. Location: ND DHHS utilizes a blended workplace model. Depending on the role, employees may work from home, onsite or both. This position is remote within North Dakota or surrounding areas.
