Career Description
Roughrider North Human Service Zone Child Welfare/Family Services Department serves to ensure the safety, permanency and well-being of children and families in our community.Roughrider North Human Service Zone is seeking a Child Welfare Case Aide (04-45-6042) for the Child Welfare/Family Services Department.This position supports the Child Welfare unit in making sure the needs of the youth are met. This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to safely drive to and from destinations in the community/region. This will include the safe transportation of clients.
Duties and Tasks
Assist Case Manager with making sure the needs of youth are met.Provide supervision to youth awaiting Foster Care placement.Supervise visitation of youth.Transportation of Foster youth.Assist with supervision in safety plans.All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
This position maintains responsibilities of a highly complex and sensitive nature and requires a high degree of knowledge, skills, and passion in child welfare. Work activities involve decision-making within parameters of approved policies and procedures, thorough, accurate and timely responses as well as accurate documentation that complies with State and Federal Regulations. High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position requires some afterhours/non-traditional working hours.This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to safely drive to and from destinations in and out of the community/region. This will include the safe transportation of clients. To succeed in this position, you should have a passion for serving others and a desire to make a positive impact. You should be highly organized, able to manage your time and priorities effectively and have demonstrated ability to communicate with diverse populations.
