Roughrider North Human Service Zone Child Welfare Department serves to ensure the safety, permanency and well-being of children and families in our community.Roughrider North Human Service Zone is seeking a Child Protection Case Manager for the Child Welfare Department.As a Child Protection Case Manager, you will utilize the Safety Framework Practice Model to protect the health and welfare of children and families when child abuse or neglect is suspected or has occurred

Minimum Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you should have a passion for serving others and a desire to make a positive impact. You should be highly organized, able to manage your time and priorities effectively and have demonstrated ability to communicate with diverse populations. You will need to have a strong understanding of program policies and laws. You will also need to be comfortable working with all types of software and database applications, with a willingness to learn new technology programs and have attention to detail.To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, human development, education, human services, child development and family science, or criminal justice-- Plus, one of the following: Family Service Specialist III (SC7005):Two (2) years of professional work experience as a social worker, child protective service worker, or professional case manager.A master's degree may substitute for one (1) year of the work experience requirement.Family Services Specialist II (SC7004):One (1) year of professional work experience as a social worker, child protective service worker, or professional case manager.A master's degree in one of the above areas may substitute for the work experience requirement.Family Services Specialist I (SC7004):No work experience required.Salary will be adjusted if applicant is hired as a Family Service Specialist I or a Family Service Specialist II. ($4500-$4900)The successful applicant must pass a standard background, motor vehicle, and criminal record check.
