Career Description




This position's purpose is to examine a taxpayer's records onsite or in-office, in a timely and efficient manner while determining if sales, use, and special taxes are properly collected and remitted to the state, and to educate taxpayers about tax compliance within their business. Duties include:Conduct field and office audits for sales, use and special taxesEducate taxpayers on the application of sales, use and special taxes within their businessAssist in various compliance functions for sales, use and special taxesAssist other audit staff in more complex audits for sales, use and special taxesAssist in identifying non-compliant taxpayers Day travel will be required to surrounding areas with the possibility of overnight stay.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in a business field, including at least 12 credits in accounting. Candidates must submit a transcript with application.

The IT Manager position is responsible for supporting the technology used throughout the department and supervising a small team of programmers.Responsibilities include:Oversee day-to-day IT operations at our agencyAbility to support and accelerate our digital transformationExperience and ability to effectively lead and manage a teamAbility to work effectively with internal and external partners and stakeholdersForward thinking and able to identify and implement digital solutions to better position our agency for the future

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in an IT-related field; OR an Associate's degree in an IT-related field and two years of experience in IT; OR four years of experience in IT. Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
