As a Pretrial Services Parole and Probation Officer you will provide supervision to individuals placed on pretrial supervision. This includes completing intakes on clients, developing case plans, and overall management of the client's case. This position is also required to complete pre-sentence investigations for the courts, complete risk assessments, and other miscellaneous investigations. This position works closely with all facets of the criminal justice system. The therapist is responsible for providing Brief Strategic Family Therapy Services for families where a child or children are at-risk of out-of-home placement. With a focus on family preservation, this position will utilize philosophy and skills acquired through Brief Strategic Family Therapy model training and passing competency panel.

Duties and Tasks

Therapy: Provides family therapy services in compliance with the Brief Strategic Family Therapy model; Serves as advocate for services for families; makes recommendations related to individual treatment as needed. Minimum Qualifications

Requires a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries/Wildlife biology or management or closely related natural resource science degree. Applicants that are graduating in the spring of 2025 may also be considered. Applicant must be extremely self-motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision. Starting Salary: $5,158/month+ depending on experience, with up to a 5% increase after completion of the probationary period. You will primarily conduct examinations for collection agencies through on-site and off-site visits. The Programmer Analyst III position provides ample opportunities to work with interesting tools, engage in meaningful projects and programs, and grow personally and professionally. It is a small office that provides analysis, design, development, and support for a variety of applications, including large applications impacting a significant number of users within the Office of Attorney General and hundreds of criminal justice professionals across North Dakota.
