As a Pretrial Services Parole and Probation Officer you will provide supervision to individuals placed on pretrial supervision. This includes completing intakes on clients, developing case plans, and overall management of the client's case. This position is also required to complete pre-sentence investigations for the courts, complete risk assessments, and other miscellaneous investigations. This position works closely with all facets of the criminal justice system. Work includes exposure to hazardous conditions potentially resulting in a serious physical injury requiring medical attention, and some lost time from work. Minimum Qualifications

Minimum qualifications for the Parole and Probation Officer II position include a bachelor's degree (preferred in behavioral science, education, or a related field), eligibility for peace officer licensing in North Dakota, and three years of relevant work experience in corrections, law enforcement, social work, education, or behavioral health settings. Candidates must pass a critical task assessment and complete basic peace officer training if unlicensed. The therapist is responsible for providing Brief Strategic Family Therapy Services for families where a child or children are at-risk of out-of-home placement. Duties and Tasks

You will primarily conduct examinations for collection agencies through on-site and off-site visits. The examinations will include a risk-scoping analysis and pre-examination review to determine areas of emphasis. The option to telework with one day per week in the office is available after initial training is complete. Must live in the Bismarck/Mandan area. The Account Budget Specialist in our Financial Management Division is responsible for various programs/Peoplesoft Modules that are time sensitive and require both analytical and computer technical skills. The ideal person for this position will be both a self-starter and a team player. You will assist in the Department of Transportation (DOT) accounting and reporting systems for: equipment, fixed assets, and infrastructure. Other duties include:Assist with accounting for Equipment, Fixed Assets, and Infrastructure.Assist with the Time & Labor accounting and reporting function.Develop Highway Rates and Monitor State Fleet and Highway Equipment Usage RatesResponsible for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program annual recertification.Setup and review payments on asset projects.Assist with Monitoring and Maintenance of Department Perpetual Inventory

Minimum Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, team-based environment with the ability to manage multiple requests at one time. Experience with various computer hardware and software including web-based applications. Excellent communication and creative problem-solving skills, preparing Excel worksheets and fiscal statistics, reconciling of various financial reports and accounts is essential.To be considered for this position, you must have one year of professional accounting experience and a bachelor's degree with an accounting concentration or equivalent. Bachelor's degree with an accounting concentration or equivalent means: 24 semester credits or equivalent of accounting courses, plus 24 credits of other business courses. Principles of accounting or equivalent courses do not count toward the required accounting or business courses. The accounting portion may include classes with an accounting, audit, or tax specialty.
