Carmel Dam and Fish Creek dams, repair of trash rack at Square Butte dam, repairs to USGS gage sites, and repairs to project features on the state-owned Devils Lake Outlets. The Crew also helps with emergency flood response and occasionally the inspection of dams. Frequent overnight travel is expected during construction season, typically 3 nights per week (four 10+ hour days Monday through Thursday and sometimes Friday).

Minimum Qualifications

Requires six years of construction experience, and an associates' degree in a related field. In lieu of associates' degree, experience may be substituted on a year for year basis up to two years. Overall experience must include: Operating heavy equipment. *Vocational training for heavy construction equipment operation or a related field reflecting the required abilities for the position may be substituted for the required work experience on a year-for year basis up to two years. Experience on civil construction projects, including at least five years work experience on infrastructure related construction projects. Experience in mechanical work, welding, carpentry, and construction work.Ability to lead and direct a team on a variety of construction projects. A valid Class A commercial driver's license with air brake endorsement or ability to obtain it within 6 months of employment.Strong interpersonal and verbal skills.Ability and willingness to travel throughout North Dakota.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with survey methods and procedures. Experience with construction of water resource projects.

As a Functional Family Therapist, you will provide evidence-based services to families with youth ages 11 through 18 years old who are at risk or have been referred for behavioral or emotional problems. The Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model is designed to empower youth and families by creating strength-based behavior change that will be sustained long after treatment ends. This rewarding career works with adolescents and their families by tailoring services to the individual family using treatment protocols, case management, crisis intervention, community outreach and in-home services.
